Here I tried to give a outstanding sense of scale, and beauty, to really show 'destiny' as I though a lot of space art was about a beginning or a end, so I decided to make something that brightens your day just to look at it.
Thanks! some stocks used for planets were, NASA images of earth, self taken rock/stone textures. It's really a mix of a lot of techniques, including; photo-manipulation and digital painting... if i had to pigeon hole it i would say 'matte painting'.
If you don't m ind me asking, what program do you use to get some amazing detail and realism? I have been looking for stuff but my pieces look nothing like this. wow!
Not at all, i use Photoshop for my space scenes, i also take a lot of photos with my Nikon D3100. i "personally" feel that a high resolution image or canvas makes detail and realism easier to obtain as well.
I know its annoying to hear but, practice makes perfect so just stick at it and you'll develop your own style.
i use corel paint shop pro. i have a plugin called Lunacell but the planets u made have such amazing detail its bananas! lol. but i hear ya. just keep practicing. please keep up the good work man. its very impressive!
Well done on the colors and textures.
